Dusky Grouse at Signal Mtn., Grand Tetons, Wyoming

It is always a huge treat for me to see grouse. They are elusive birds out of the mating season. I was lucky enough to come upon this one by the side of the road about half way up to the peak of Signal Mountain. It was pretty accommodating for me. I love getting lucky.

Back From Yellowstone Trip 2012

Got back from Yellowstone trip a couple of days ago and am beginning to edit. Loved the trip, as always. Was three days in Yellowstone,  and three in the Tetons. It is therapy for me to be in such a beautiful setting.

I have so much to be grateful for today. I having a loving and supportive wife, four great ambitious children, two grandchildren, and loads of friends and family. Thank you all for being who you are and for making my life course worth traveling.
